With a schedule of 8am -6pm, a timetable so tight that there was no time for a fight, books so close that it became a fright.Assignments so much that it made our sight hurt.
Yet it was always fun, wonderful and bright until a strike hit over our rights, putting us in an unexplainable plight, as if it wasn't enough, a virus came and brought fear to our mind.
We became so clean and hygiene was our weapon. Children were stopped from flying kites, as social distancing made our nights lonely and gloomy. One looks forward to our plights as burial sites become an every day sight on each TV station .
As the year slowly rolls by, we are stuck in a tight corner with a halt to education, the government battling a virus.
Students bored and our books suffer no touch.
A noble virus indeed to remember.
This is not a caption, it is reality. The world as a whole is blessed with oil, mineral resources and intelligence.
It all started with HIV Aids , shaking nations as it had no cure, Cholera destroying humanity then came Ebola we became so hygienic, sanitizers as lotions and salts as scrub.
Truly Nigeria is blessed as it has no occurrence of natural disaster, then the dreaded CORONA VIRUS stepped in, threatening mankind: the weak,strong,poor,rich.
The religious all on their knees praying for divine intervention.
Our world of laughter and carelessness has become a thing of 'please don't touch me".The concept of quarantine fills the air.
It has made nations set up places for mass burials, everyone in fear,borders closed,economy dropping,private church sessions ,weddings postponed,cancelled football fixtures . The world quiver as we all are in the of God's hands.
